webspace servers down, no http or ftp access

Website working now, but I can't upload new content because ftp not working.

If you need to upload stuff urgently, try FTPing directly to the relevant working server IP address rather than using homepages.whatever.net 

HTTP and FTP access is still intermittent because only 1 out the alleged 2 servers available is apparently accessible and working. There is therefore a 50% chance of getting the duff one and keeping it until the cached DNS result expires and another DNS lookup is performed with another 50% chance of getting the duff one again !

Nothing changed today it would appear.  Webspace via HTTP/FTP still intermittent due to server(s) being conspicuous by their absence   

Ditto SMTP

Still no significant comment from PN about the cause and/or resolution either

This really is becoming more than a bit of nightmare that's presumably going to continue for some considerable time it seems with no one able to reliably view hosted webspace

Come back 212.159.9.xxx all is forgiven, us mere mortals love you even if PN clearly don't !

It would be rather more positive if PN actually bothered to inform their customers via email of service issues

@rockposer  That would be difficult in the recent situation where e-mail failed completely.🤔
