It is how the system works - the equipment in the cab regularly sends out a signal to your hub to ensure everything is OK, if it doesn't get a response it assumes there is a problem and takes action in an attempt to rectify it. It is not poorly designed - it is actually a very clever one, to ensure you remain connected as well as possible.

Hi @sanguinius,
Just to clarify, with the type of appointment we've booked in an engineer won't need to visit the property to carry out the work on the line. If they do need access to the property for whatever reason, they tend to call ahead of time, but this is quite a rare occurrence for this particular type of fault.
