Hi - I'm upgrading to full fibre. Had a text from plusnet to said "The engineer appointment to activate your broadband service is confirmed...". Engineer visited today and did his thing - router is happily showing a blue light - I can access the router but not the internet - Do I need to wait for another activation date?
Noticed in the admin the broadband user is 'setup@plusdsl.net' rather than my user - but no obvious way to change it
Fixed! Go to the fix.

@Aquarium Welcome to the Community forum.
After Openreach do their stuff the account has to be activated by Plusnet. This can take up until midnight. You can can reset the username manually but it’s best to wait for a text from Plusnet telling you that it’s activated. If it’s all set up and ready to go try pushing a paperclip or similar in the reset hole on the back of the hub. Hold the switch closed until the light turns green. This will start it up from scratch and if everything is set up right it will self configure.

Thanks @Baldrick1
It was activated, it was the broadband user being set as 'setup@plusdsl.net' rather than my account - once I figured out you have to click the 'disconnect' button on the router admin page to allow me to change it to my details everything kicked into life.
