Don't want to hijack your thread, but my issue was back here in 2015 . The problem went away after writing several more times to Sky and has never re- appeared.

Might have been useful to complete all tests before yesterday mind.. However each customer service person told me something different.
Hopefully get somewhere now.

Hi @royleestoves, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing connection issues as of recent. I have looked through both this thread and few current raised tickets on your account regarding this issue and progressed your fault forwards given the next advised step by our supplier in that a engineer would be needed to come out and investigate further from here. I have updated your fault ticket with required information from your self so we can get an appointment booked in which can be found here.
If you could please give us a nudge on here confirming you've replied to the ticket after doing so as we'll get this picked up for you as soon as possible and get the appointment booked.

I am interested in how this goes. From my reading, (which I might have got wrong), @royleestoves has a 80/20 stable connection but is complaining of 40ms latency and undefined packet loss. Is there a spec for these parameters or will OR/Plusnet say: “stable 80/20, no fault found, that’ll be £65 please”?
