FTTP upgrade - can I use eero?

Hi

I am considering going with Plusnet FTTP (it is available). It comes with a Plusnet Hub2? I currently have an Eero mesh (3 Eeros)to get good Wifi throughout the house. Before I sign up I could do with some info please folks

Questions

  • can I replace the Plusnet Hub2 and connect one Eero direct to the ONT?
  • Or can I connect an Eero to the Hub2 to use the mesh

(The eero site isn't really very helpful about this as I don't think they have clocked Plusnet offering FTTP yet)

Any advice most welcome here. (I doubt I can be alone with this question?) Thanks

Re: FTTP upgrade - can I use eero?

According to this https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/articles/5382599417371-PPPoE-Setup-Instructions the Eero supports PPPoE . You should be able to connect directly to the ONT and configure the EEro for PPPoE with your Plusnet username & password

Re: FTTP upgrade - can I use eero?

Thanks Mr W. So in that eero article it says the ppoe login is not various things, but for plusnet it is the normal login I use now?
Thanks again

Fix

but for plusnet it is the normal login I use now?

Yes , it's <accountname>@plusdsl.net & the password you use to login to the member centre
