Hello Plusnet,
Would it be possible to remove my current profile (37.5mbps) down / 6.5 up and force a higher profile so that I can get the speed I used to experience.
My line is currently syncing at 62 mbps. NOt sure what happened.

From what I can see unless I'm looking at the wrong account, your router's in sync at 40mbps.
Could you drop me a private message to confirm your username so I can double-check things?

Upon further investigation, your line's banded at 40mbps by automated software at the cabinet (the green box in the road) so I've raised a request for your line to be reset which should go through within 3 working days.
Let us know how it goes.

hi , bt engineer called yesterday. Found that our line should achieve 57 mbs. And said our line should be reset as it’s capped at 40 !!!! I thought this was going to be done within 3 days. this is now day 6. Can you press the magic button.

Thanks a lot for getting back to us and I'm sorry to see that you're still not happy with your download sync speeds. I've just rejected the clear notification on the open fault, which sends it back to our suppliers for further investigation, as a line test this morning has found a BRAS mismatch, which could be having an impact on your speeds.
While the profile does still appear to be banded, it's worth pointing out that the current sync speeds are within those we told you to expect on the line. You were advised to expect speeds between 38 - 54Mbps, the line is currently syncing at just below 49Mbps.

we were getting 55/10 now we’re getting 30/9 if we’re lucky. It appears that the line has been banded incorrectly again.
this is a bit deja vu ish. It would appear that the auto banding majigger is a bit too sensitive. When the bt engineer came out in december he said the line was supposed to be getting 55mbs and that the profile would be reset. The speed issue seems to be occurring every 3 months.
would you mind working the plusnet magic again and get bt to reset the thing in the cabinet.

I am really sorry to see that the speed has reduced more than it should and for the inconvenience this is causing.
I have changed the speed profile on the account, please can you reboot the router and test the speed again to see if this fixes the issue.
