I rang plusnet yesterday and had an engineer visit today, and I'm pleased to say I'm now getting the correct speeds. Thank you to everyone who tried to help out. I'm getting 600 mbps over wifi and now the full 900 plus via direct Ethernet to router. I don't know why it just decided to suddenly start working.
