Do they have to put a new line in to the property for FTTP?
There might just be a mis-match on OR records. PlusNet can request OR to check things - the wizard @Gandalf knows the spells required.

Our phone line is still from the telegraph poles which may explain the difference between address and phone number? We can get Virgin Fibre already as the road is cabled up but have heard nothing but bad things about their customer service which puts me off.
I'm not entirely sure of the current procedure but in the past OR would replace your current copper overhead line with a hybrid fibre / copper one for FTTP. However, with the PSTN network being on the way out they might just be using fibre cables only with any phone service required going onto VOIP.

Nice try. This one may be beyond my power from where I'm sat.
Joking aside, your phone line records look fine and the Wholesale checker Here is showing WBC FTTP when searching using your full address and also using your landline number. Both though are saying the availability is in amber state rather than green, which suggests Openreach need to carry out further work to make it available for order.
If Openreach have previously confirmed to you it's available, it's possible that they didn't fully anticipate how many people would sign up in a period of time and there may be a capacity issue.
I'd recommend asking them by filling out the form Here. Let us know what they say.

Thanks for having a look.
Something to keep in mind for the future - if WBC FTTP is listed we also need to check the "availability" status.

@Gandalf I've filled the form in. So the fun is:
- BT Checker with phone number says not available
- BT Checker with address says available, 330Mbps max
- BT Broadband website checker which uses my address says Full Fibre not available
- Openreach checker says Full Fibre 1Gbps is available
😂

Could you post screenshots?
From what I can see the BT Broadband (Wholesale) Availability Checker is showing WBC FTTP available for your address and number but in an amber state.

Openreach (BT) has today officially added another 170 new towns and villages (covering 1.5 million premises) to the UK rollout plan of their 1Gbps Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband ISP network, which are all the same as those we published last month (here). The news comes as they reach 6 million premises passed.

I wonder if this might just be a system quirk.
The address version narrative shows that FTTP is "planned" - ie not yet available. It might only show up in the phone line version once it actually becomes available. The OR e-mail simply might have been ahead of its time.
At least there's no doubt it's coming!
Brian
Edit - out of interest can you see a Distribution Node hanging from the telegraph pole.
Also, the narrative shows that no problems are anticipated for the customer install.

No problem @probedb
I’ve got a feeling that this may be due to the version of the wholesale availability checker I was looking at.
We can access this through logging into the wholesale portal as a service provider, which looks almost identical to the publicly available one, but has a bit of extra information about the status of a line etc and an added perk of not having to complete a CAPTCHA verification.
There’s no “RAG” column in your screenshot, which is where I saw the status as amber. I suspect that the public version may not show WBC FTTP at all if it’s not available to order for any reason.
