Was a discount negotiable by choosing the "I'm thinking of leaving option"?

Just rang up and asked if I could upgrade from my existing FTTC contract and was told yes.
The FTTP product offers are 145Mbps, 300Mbps, 500Mbps & 900Mbps.
There is no digital voice phone supported by Plusnet (broadband only FTTP service like EE).
Contracts are for 24 months & I was offered 145Mbps for £33.99 and 300Mbps for £37.99 per month (didn't ask about higher speed prices).

Looking at those "out-of-contract" prices it's going to be a close call between PN on a renewals basis and my two other contenders ie EE (with mobile customer discount) and Giganet (Openreach service not Cityfibre).
Anyone know if there are separate pricings for with / without phone service? [UPDATE: ok that's been answered now}

@northender, I've PM'd you back but I'll post it here in case it helps anyone else.
As far as I'm aware if you move to one of our FTTP products, then we'll cease your phone line so if you're wanting to keep your landline number, then you'd have to move to another provider who offers a phone service as well as FTTP. We'll waive any termination fees if you choose BT or EE (Only if you arrange by calling us though).
Another option is that if you're out of contract or happy to pay termination fees then you could port your landline number out, ceasing your FTTC service/account, and call us to create an FTTP broadband only account. You don't need to wait for your FTTC to be ceased though to create a new account.

Oh well - too late for me... I ordered a EE fttp connection yesterday. I called up Plusnet and when I eventually got through to support, I think the guy was telling me it was coming today - but could not give any details at all. He did give me prices for BT fttp products and then put me through to EE who I ordered a 74/20 Mbps with.
Have to see how it all works out. It seems the lower fttp speeds aren't all properly set up on the EE website yet (Ts&Cs don't reflect fttp and the emails seem to be geared to fttc.)

I'm pretty sure 40 and 80 are available - they have end of contract prices listed.
Is this an error by the call centre staff in not offering 40 and 80 down?
