Possible Banding - Please Check

Good afternoon

My hub has been connected for the last 57 days.  The current stats are:

Data Rate      Max Data Rate      Noise

Download       35961               42358                  6.2

Upload            9167                 9212                    6.0

The download and upload speeds have not changed in this time.  Has my profile been banded as I know my line is capable of a greater download speed?  The values were higher in Jan this year.

Many thanks

Re: Possible Banding - Please Check

Can I also add that it is difficult to connect to the 5Gz band.  It shows up but gives an error of 'unable to connect to internet'.

@nigelbrand05 Is the equipment you are using a little old - many older phones/laptops &c are not 5Ghz compatible.

Re: Possible Banding - Please Check

Thanks a lot for getting in touch @nigelbrand05, please see the GEA test that I've just run below, the line doesn't appear to be banded, and has been syncing at 36.0 Mbps for as long as our RRT goes - 04/10/2022. I can't see as far back as January, but as current speeds are actually above your estimates, we wouldn't raise a fault in this instance. Smiley

Re: Possible Banding - Please Check

@adam945

Many thanks for checking.  I was also concerned about devices connecting to the 5G band.  They would connect to my home network using the 5G band but this would not connect to the internet.  2.4G was OK.  The router was connected for about 54 days. I have since turned the router off for 40 mins and reconnected.  I as now able to use the 5G band to connect to the internet.

My current stats are:

Band      Ping      Download      Upload      Noise

2.4         19        32.24               8.47          6.0

5            21        33.35               8.42          6.2

Again many thanks for your help
