Router keeps dropping out.

Ok over the last 6 to 8 hours my router keeps dropping out.

The light on the front will be blue then it will go orange then back to blue then orange and so on.

every now and then it will keep asking me to re enter my admin password.

To post this here i have had to connect to internet via my mobile service as unable to connect via router with either Ethernet cable or wifi.

At the moment the router light on the front is flashing orange.

in all my years with plusnet this has never happened before.

I have tried 4 or 5 times to reboot the router but still same.

Any help please.

Thanks a lot for reaching out and I'm really sorry to hear that your broadband connection keeps cutting out. I've just had a look into the account and can see that an engineer visit has been arranged for tomorrow.

Well.

Waited in all morning and it is now 13.10 and no sign of an Engineer.

Engineer was booked between 8am and 1pm.

What now?

Hello @karlgixer

Thanks a lot for getting back to us. I've just had a look at the fault and engineer notes suggest that they've been out, and have proven a working line to the property with the issues, so I'm a little confused as to what's gone on here. Did the engineer turn up in the end?

No the Engineer did not turn up at all.

Looks like our faults team have escalated the ticket to yourself too!

That being said, are you still having problems with your connection? Other than the odd dropout in the early hours of the morning, the line is looking rather stable throughout the weekend, I'll pop a visual radius onto this post so you can see as well. Let me know if you're still having problems and we'll look at diagnosing the source of this issue further.

Yes seems stable now.

Not noticed any drop outs since.
