Solid orange light - plusnet hub 2

Hello, newbie member here. My plusnet hub 2 is showing a solid orange light. I have full fibre. Following other streams here I have performed a factor reset to the hub and have then logged into the admin hub changed the broadband username and password from setup@plusdsl.net to my actual username and password. However I still have a solid orange light and the admin hub says the broadband is disconnected. Can anyone help further?

Thanks

What colour are the lights on the ONT?

Has this ever worked?

@HManktelow Welcome to the forum. If you have full Fibre (FTTP), what are the lights on the ONT showing?

How many ports on the ONT?

Can you please confirm that the Ethernet cable is in the 4th port on the router?

As @Townman asked, has the connection ever worked? I am assuming so, as the installer should have checked?

@Townman and @jab1

Yes this worked before. It has been working well for about 6 months.

There one ethernet port on the ONT, with power on left and optical on the right.

Ethernet is in the far right port on the router (WAN).

Better raise a fault report.

Hi @HManktelow I can see you've called in and there was an outage in your area. It is showing you now have an active connection, is everything working ok on your side?

@ClaudiaG23

Are you able to share the nature of the outage so that we can profile this characteristic for others please?

Is this user on the low touch or the high touch network?

Was this a RADIUS server issue or something else?

Re: Solid orange light - plusnet hub 2

@Townman This is typical, and why  I try not t respond whilst away - there is always some 'unmentioned' information - plus I don't spend all day in front of the laptop. 😉
