Hello, I have a CCTV system that I need to access remotely, however the broadband IP address keeps changing which disconnects the CCTV app. Is there a way of enabling a Static IP in the router settings or account settings. It says online that I should be able to do it but cannot find for the life of me where it is.

Hi @Jonathan_A welcome to the forum.
You should be able to add a static IP via the members centre Home > Add On. scroll down you should see Static IP, if you don't see it there try Home >Broadband > Under "Help and Settings" Configure Static IP
If it's missing completely then hopefully a staffer here can do it for you
Hope this helps
Dan

Is it the IP address between the router and Plusnet or between the router and the camera that keeps changing ?

I took that to be the public IP address

@Dan_the_Van Unless the router is frequently re-booted neither should change, but I agree it looks like the external address. The OP would need to set up a static IP or use a DDNS service.

If you need a fixed IP address so that you can access your camera remotely then you need to add on a fixed IP address in your account. There is a one off charge of £5.

Order static IP service for one time payment £5.
BTW.
Don't forget to setup complicated password on your CCTV system otherwise you will be hacked in few minutes.
