The router I will be using is ipv6 capable and I do actively use ipv6 (currently via tunnels) meaning I should be able to give good feedback.

ASUS RT-N66U, Fibre Unlimited.
Do you really mean v4 in "The v4 addresses will be <testusername>.plus.com"?

Yes, I'm currently using it as a 6in4 tunnel endpoint with HE.

Another question as some of my software doesnt support IPv6 ie teamspeak3 server or client, will the IPv6 fall back to IPv4 for stuff like that Is it called dual stack ? As my router supports IPV6
These are the things that i would need to know before i could consider trying IPv6

Quote from: deathtrap What's the situation if you already have a static IPV4 address would this change too or will the test accouunt be only for IPV6 ?

Hi
Yes, you will get a different IPv4 address on the test account. This will be from the dynamic pools.
Yes also. Your software should be fine with dual stack, it will all depend on the server or service you are trying to connect to. Things that are hosted on IPv6 should use that, everything else will be on IPv4. You PC will continue to get its 192.168.1.x (assuming you use that range) address however it will also get an IPv6 one from the router. If you have the IPv6 stack enabled chances are you will already have an fe80:xxxx address on your interface.
