V6 on the TG589 v3

Do you recall adding any other commands first time around?
You could try dhcp clientv6 ifadd intf=Internet before doing running the rest of the dhcp clientv6 stuff.
Regarding the rest of the config, have you definitely done a config reset? Either way, let's try the above and take things one step at a time.

I did a reset and then logged in as the test user. After logging into the web page to set the admin password.
I did all the commands in the tg582 list as well. That was all I added.

Still something wrong with this setup.
I can't get to some sites, apt update fails connecting to the Ubuntu security server 2001:67c:1562::14 on both this pc and the lt.
FB and MSE will not connect with ipv6 enabled in FF. Currently disabled the ipv6 in FF to actually use the pc.

I'm a bit lost with where we're upto with this.
How did you get on with the commands above? If some/all are failing we need to fix them before moving on to potential issues with your clients (aside from anything else, the cause could be broken router config and nothing to do with the clients at all).

I can ping from the pc:

cant connect to the the thinkbroadband or the ip6test sites.

That's the wrong command. It should be:

dhcp clientv6 ifdetach intf=Internet

Copy and paste otherwise there's too much scope for mistyping.

I ALWAYS have to run the setup wizard or it WILL NOT connect. So not sure about using the CLI at this point.

Aside from those errors is it now working?
I must admit Hairy, I'm so confused now with this. I think you might be better off tracing your own steps to see how you ended up at a working configuration. I don't feel I can provide any more assistance because it is proving rather difficult given the disjointed progress!
