BT Sport - full payment taken for 12 days use

Hi. BT Sport ceased with Plusnet on 5th July. Yet Plusnet took full payment. As we are billed on 23rd of the month, this is only 12 days. How do we obtain the difference back, please? In addition, why did BT Sport take the whole payment anyway?!

I would expect that you will see a refund for 6th-22nd July on your next bill.

If you are being billed by Plusnet and not BT for this, then it is not "BT Sport" who have taken the payment, it is Plusnet. That is just the way their billing systems seem to work - I don't think that they are the only company that work like this either?

The last invoice which included BT App and BT Sport (via Sky) shows as this

The amount was reduced to reflect the end of the subscription
