Cannot Change Billing Address

I am trying to change the billing account, however I get the following error message. 

'There has been an issue; please consult your system administrator'. 

Please can someone advise me on how to do this an get my account fixed.

Hi @timothyCox 

What's the context of this request / what are you trying to achieve?  For residential services, the billing address is usually the address to which the service is supplied.  That said only in exceptional circumstances is any communication sent by snail-mail.

The user portal does not appear to offer the means of changing the address on an account, but it does offer a link alongside the address to "moving home?".

If you have moved home and the account is still showing the old address, you'll need to telephone support.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi @timothyCox thanks for getting in touch. As @Townman said, unless is a house move, very rarely the billing address differs from the residential address, however, we can manually change this over the phone. If you haven't already, please contact our billing team on 0330 1239 123 to process this request.

Hi, 

 

Sorry for any inconvenience, the ticket title should read 'Cannot Change Billing Account'. 

I have changed my bank account and am trying to change the account details (not billing address).  

However, when trying to do from the Bills and Payments section of the website, I am met by the error described in the original post.

Are you attempting to change the billing date close to the next DD ( or bill)? I think there is a lead time of 7 days.
