Direct debit drawn on day of sign up 18 days before activation

Hi,

I signed up for fullfibre 500 yesterday, and have already had £33.99 taken. (I chose first of the month)

My account is not yet ready, activation is not until the 19th, hence the router hasn't been sent yet.

Your online billing help says when you sign-up you'll be billed pro rata for the number of days in the first month you actually get.

My understanding of pro rata is that I should be charged nearer to £13 for the first month 🤔

@harrybrook You are charged the 'full' amount on sign-up, but any over-payment will be deducted from the invoice for the second month. Payments are taken one month in advance.
