So if im right i have to calculate my monthly fee and multiply that by 19 months to get out of this contract?

Yes, but I think the VAT element is removed ?  (You cannot be charged VAT for a service you didn't receive)

That used to be the case. These days you do have to pay the VAT 😞

There is a small reduction in the total due to allow for Plusnet getting their (your!) money sooner, and savings that come from not providing services.

@Faizan786

Did you not get an email on the day you took out the new contract (it will also be in a closed ticket on your account on that date) which, amongst other information gives the monthly cost of early termination? I got such an email when I recontracted early last year.

Re: FTTP Just arrived in my area but I have 19 months left on PN.

I would ring up and find out how much it will cost to cancel.

I was paying £40 a month with 17 months to go and it cost me £250 to get out of my contract early.

Im paying less now for my 900mb with no prices increases for 2 years and i wont have to leave my PC overnight all the time for larger downloads so I will probs end up getting close to even.

Yep, that's what I do. I cannot run downloads during the day as it slows everyone down. So i prioritize family needs for surfing and the ones who want to dload a game have to wait overnight. Just got unlucky with new contract and availability of 900mb within a month of each other.
