Wouldn't it be nice if it said for 2 years only.

Yes, I was told that and yet people here say they have downloaded again? Wouldn't it be good if we had confidence in what we have paid for over a number of years? Very disappointed, fedup, upset etc, etc

I've just tried this I get a message saying I can't down load with the credit card details even though I hadn't entered any and the price was showing as zero.

I had that a couple of weeks ago but tried it again yesterday and the transaction went through (no charge and no payment details entered) and I have now downloaded and successfully installed Norton over the previous expired installation - 731 days remaining.

I've done the same - it didn't auto-renew but I was given an extra 2 months free at that point. My subscription then expired though everything seemed to still be functioning. Tried as described above to re-download via the plusnet site and got kicked out of the process even though it was saying there was nothing to pay but have tried again today and it's reloaded with the full 700+ days subscription.

It all feels very hit and miss but definitely worth persevering!
