Pay what I owe

Plusnet want to charge me for service I will not have after the end of my contract and then I have to claim it back off them. I want to pay what I owe. I have stopped the DD and now want Plusnets bank account details so that I can pay what I owe and not an amount I then have to claim back.

Re: Pay what I owe

@Jennymantaray  I can understand you don't want to pay beyond the end of your contract but the way Plusnet's billing system works does cause this to happen. However it can have the advantage that if you are migrating to another provider and that is delayed for some reason your Plusnet service will continue until the changeover happens. Because of this possibility you don't actually know "what you owe" only Plusnet will know that. You will get a final bill around 21 days after you leave Plusnet.

Also cancelling the DD is probably the worst thing you can do as it is used to automatically refund you for any overpayment you have made. You don't have to claim it.

The other nasty thing is if your DD payment fails Plusnet are known to be pretty keen on calling in the debt collectors.☹️
