Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else
Am just looking to renew my (elderly) Mum's contract which ends soon and this is what the deal would be
Unlimited Fibre with line rental
£28.63
- Unlimited Fibre - £0 a month until 20/02/2025, then £22.91
- Line rental - £28.63 a month until 20/02/2025
- 18 month contract
Why would the price jump in February from £0 to £22.91 when it is an 18 month contract?
Thank you

Have you spoken to Plusnet?
To me the £28.63 looks expensive (compared to new customer prices which admittedly don't include a phone connection), and that is without the extra £22.91 which would appear to make an eye watering £51.54 per month!
I'll also add my usual comment about a social tariff - if your mother is on any benefits it would be worth looking at a social tariff, it could save an awful lot of money, and allow her to swap to a ISP that offers VoIP so she can keep her landline number.
