Transfer failed?

I was supposed to transfer to Plusnet today. The new router arrived a few days ago and I was told I would receive a text or email to tell me when to connect it up. Now 6pm and nothing. At least I still have internet!

Re: Transfer failed?

@wiggers42

Transfers are done by Openreach. They being on strike on Tuesday and Wednesday this week has probably delayed the transfer.

Re: Transfer failed?

Hi there @wiggers42, I'm sorry for the slight delay to your services transferring over to us. I've checked your account and can see it went through on the 2nd. Please do get back to me if there's anything else we can help with though.

Re: Transfer failed?

The router for the old provider finally stopped working yesterday, 7 days after transfer was supposed to happen. I have now installed the new router and I'm connected again.

John Lewis Broadband, a reseller of Plusnet. Their customer service has been very poor.
