That's a shame, do we know why residential customers can not have it? For the last couple of years I've been using my old BT hub 6, as I found the plusnet router kept dropping out. This is my third contract with Plusnet and assumed technology would have improved!

Basically, it's only just been released. Maybe it's policy, maybe it's a chip shortage, maybe it's cash flow,only Plusnet knows. Once they start releasing them to residential customers I would guess that this forum will be swamped by requests for one.
I wouldn't assume that it's better than a Smarthub 6.
