Can the hub 2 log to an external syslog server?

Just got FTTP installed, all ok except I had syslogging to a local server with the previous ISP / hub. Does the Hub 2 have this - can't spot it anywhere? I mean to an external syslog server, I know it logs internally and I know where that is at least. Not a biggie but would be nice to have.

@jmh888 pretty sure it doesn't I'm afraid.

What was your previous router/ISP ? you MAY be able to reuse it , providing its internet connection can be set for PPPoE and you can change the pppoe credentials.

The old one is NowTV and most probably not up to it - plus having only had this FTTP 2 days I am not about to fiddle! No worries, syslog is not at all vital just would have kept all logging in one place.

@jmh888

PN have always been happy for customers to use their own equipment.

If you can find a suitable unit there's nothing to stop you using it. PN supply the required settings on their Help pages.
