Hi
I have a device (light controller hub) plugged in to the Plusnet Hub over ethernet. I need to change the IP address of the device and have it fixed. Unfortunately the device itself cannot be configured to have a fixed IP, so I am looking to fix it within the Hub 2. I locate the device in "my devices" and then when I press the "always use this ip address" button I can change the ip address to the one that I want, however it always changes straight back and I cant change it. I've looked online and tried many times etc, but it just wont save the change!
Any help please?
Thanks

@acevialli78 Welcome to the Plusnet Community Fora.
The "always use this ip address" button must be accessed in the advanced settings, you will need to enter the Admin password to gain access. This feature locks in the address allocated by the Hub.
If you wish to set your own IP address then it must be in the range 192.168.1.2-63 and should be set in the device that you wish to connect, not the hub.

Thanks, so I can "lock it in" as it currently is set in the hub, but to change the ip address, this can only be done in the device itself and within the range .2-.63?

What is it precisely that you are trying to do and why?
