Hello,
I installed a new Hub 2, and the LAN connection to my computer is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting, several times per minute. Wireless connections seem fairly stable.
I've plugged in my previous router (BT smart hub 1) and the ethernet connection is now stable again.
I've downloaded event logs from the Hub 2, should I post them?
Plusnet have scheduled a engineer visit but I don't know if this would solve anything.
Thanks

What LAN port on the hub is your computer connected to? Note the fourth port is a WAN port and not a LAN port and should therefore not be used to connect local network devices.

Would be interesting to see the Event Log.
How is your network configured? Any other switches/access points/powerline adapters etc. in use?
Assume the same cable has been used for both the Plusnet hub and the Smarthub 1?

The computer is connected directly, there are powerline adapters that serve a TV. I left them switched off and disconnected from the Hub 2 incase they were causing interference. Nothing else connected to the Hub.
I'll post the event log.

I've been attempting to post the event log but my posts are being automatically deleted, perhaps it's in the wrong format.
I've attached it as a .txt file
The engineer is scheduled to visit tomorrow, I'm not sure whether to go ahead with the appointment.
Many thanks

@C1 Your missing posts will be going into the automated Spam filter which tends to swallow things for no particular reason. A mod will release them in due course.

Ah right, I also made a previous thread that will have caught by the spam filter - if any mod reading this could delete it/stop it from being released that would be great.
Thread removed

So, immediate observation from those logs is that the PC is negotiating at 10/100 speeds when the Hub Two has gigabit (1000) ethernet ports. What sort of cable are you using? Is it Cat-5 or Cat-5e or above? What network card is the PC using? Should it be capable of more than 100mbps?
The last thing I'd ask is whether or not you have any other devices that you could wire directly to the hub? If so, do they experience the same problem? If we can rule out some sort of incompatibility/issue specific to the PC itself then we can move things forward.
