Only busy WiFi channels are available?

I go to advanced settings in my Hub One and it only gives 3 channel options or "smart" for 2.4ghz and 5ghz and those channels are already full of signals. Why can't I use one of the empty channels that the WiFi analyser recommends? Why are those channels not available to be used on this router?

Re: Only busy WiFi channels are available?

A WiFi signal overlaps two channels either side of its designated channel. Being co-resident with busy channels is much less of an issue than being on overlapped channels “bleed over”. Overlapped channels is detrimental to the experience for every one. Stick to channels 1, 6 and 11.
