Plusnet Fibre Only - Modem Required?

I've just switched from Unlimited Fibre to "Fibre Only" (note:  not "Full Fibre", so not FTTP).

Current router setup is an old HG612 modem with an Eero router connected.

The question is: do I still need the HG612 or can I now plug directly into the Eero like you can with full fibre?

I'm a bit unclear on what the switch has actually entailed.  There definitely wasn't any work done inside the property; as far as I can tell, I'm just not paying for the phone line any more!

Fix

@ctrlz You leave your setup exactly as is - the only difference is that you lose the voice (phone) element, everything else stays exactly the same.

@ctrlz

What Euro router are you using?

Is it a modem / router? You still need a modem for a SOGEA (internet only) line. SOGEA is what you've been transferred to.

@bmc the Eero is just a router.

As @jab1 says, the setup stays exactly as it was before , using the HG612 modem
