Plusnet Hub 2 bridge mode - possible to get line stats?

My plusnet hub 2 is in bridge mode too. Please can you add it to the firmware upgrade list too.

@Dan_the_Van - I've pushed the new build to you. You just need to powercycle the hub to apply the update.

@smoothpainting - The newer firmware will be pushed to everyone later in the month, however your hub would need to be taken out of bridge mode for a couple of days in order for it to be targeted.

@bobpullen There needs to be a better option for those using bridged mode as reconfiguring my own router for double NAT every time there is a firmware update isn’t a long term solution.

I’m happy to switch to router mode on the PN Hub2 for a specific evening in the month, e.g. 1st, as I WFH and need the internet during the day.

I've just rebooted and I now see version v0.08.00.08297-PN. 

I will revert back to bridge mode probably tomorrow, will report back if I see anything worrying.

Can your router work in wireless access point mode, this would negate double NAT.

@Dan_the_Van, I have my own Ubiquiti Edgerouter with PPoE and UniFi AP’s setup with multiple SSID’s. So using the PN Hub2 in router mode + AP is not viable.

it's now been in bridge mode for just over 2 Days I have a TP-Link router connected to it.

Home > Status. I note shows system up time but not network time, importantly it shows it set to bridge mode 

Advanced settings >Broadband - now just displays the bridge mode off/on switch

Advanced settings > Technical log >Information - now fully populated with the connection details with the exclusion of Data Sent/Received which it doesn't know about.

Happy with the changes, save going into then WAN log to check the connection, pity there is no way of setting the date/time as starts from 01 Oct 00:00

Before bridge mode I experimented with the wireless setting, think you noticed my post regarding that. Has samba support been updated for the usb port? port scanner found Samba smbd 3.X - 4.X workgroup: HOME

It was actually pushed to you this morning.

You can either wait for the scheduled overnight reboot, or powercycle your hub now to apply the update.

Excellent news, thank you for checking. I've just switched ISP which successfully completed this morning, so it's nice to know the update was pushed right away.
