Apologies if this is already covered but I can't see anything even though I've searched the forum for "VoIP"
The black sticker on the back of my new Hub Two says "Digital Voice Customers Only" (*) - so I presume the RJ12 socket it covers is actually present and connected.to the motherboard
BUT I don't see anything relevant in the Hub Two Manager and Telnet to port 23 just gets a "connection refused"
Is there a magic incantation or does the Plusnet firmware deliberately brick the capability?
(I know PN only mention the loss of your POTS line in passing and don't actively point potential customers towards VoIP alternatives)
TIA for any help/advice
Paul
(*) I do know that "Digital Voice" only works on a pukka-BT connection but I do already have an account with A&A and using this port would save cluttering up the installation with an additional Telephone Adapter, power brick, 13A plug, cable, etc

The Plusnet firmware does not support the phone port in any way.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks, MisterW, for the reply - if not the content of your message
I do wonder how Plusnet's plan of growing their business by withdrawing products (mobile phones), removing barriers to customers switching away (branded, functional email) and not supporting features already present in their routers will work out in practice
Still, I suppose that's why I'm not paid the big bucks, I'm obviously not intelligent enough to even discern the grand strategy
