Hi,
I switched to Plusnet from BT end of last year and placed the Plusnet router in the same spot as where my BT router used to be.
I am on Unlimited Fibre with Estimated download speed: 38 - 40Mbps. The download speeds are decent but when I move 5-6 metres away, I have my Whatsapp calls dropping/reconnecting.
We live in a small 2 bed same level flat and is frustrating to lose connection while moving to say the kitchen which is 5-6 metres away from where the router is. There is also no hindrance in-between.
This wasn't the case while on BT. Unfortunately I had to return the BT router as a part of the switch.
I rent and don't want to setup ethernet lines to compensate a poor router. What are my options? Do I need to buy something like the below:

@rrprabhuram Welcome to the forum.
BT Smarthubs sell for peanuts on auction sites. Setting instructions are pinned to the top of this board.

Thanks @Baldrick1
On ebay I see "BT Smarthub 2" for £5 to £10. This should do the trick right?

You have to set it up rather than it automatically self configuring but it’s got the equivalent basic performance as the latest Plusnet Hub 2.
I’m assuming that you have a Plusnet Hub One, which is a stable mate to the old BT Home Hub 5a.
