Unknown device keeps attaching itself onto router?!

Hi alI.

I really don't know what this device is. It shows up as 'Unknown-01-02-03...'. I disconnected everything from the router by changing the Wifi password. I re-connected with only my phone and that unknown device has somehow connected also. What is going on?

You could try changing the wifi password in the router (note is down), then you will have to change them in all of your devices which connect via wifi.  Unknown, simply means the device is not fully identifying itself.

I changed the router wifi password, and as you've said, I had to manually re-connect again.

But that unknown device is still there. What on earth could it be? Do you think my router's been hacked or compromised in some way?

Bit of a long shot but you could pop the MAC address of the unknown device into this link which may give a clue as to what it actually is.

@Browni - The result from that link shows 'No Vendor'.

Do you have anything wired into the router?

Nope. No Ethernet or anything hard-wired attached. Everything is on wireless.

I've just gone back onto that link that 'Browni' gave and the result's now showing "Wistron Neweb Corporation".

Anyone know who or what that is?

Edit: I've just found it may be to do with the Sky box I've got. I can't remember using Wi-Fi to add it on the router but I guess I must have.

Try Sky On Demand from it.

If it works you know it is that successfully accessing your router and is nothing to worry about.
