Wi-Fi Channel Selection

I have just renewed my contract with Plusnet and just got the Hub 2 router. I have been in to the wi-fi channel selection to change my channel so I am not on the same channel as my neighbour but I only seem to have a few channels to choose from (1, 6 and 11)  ?

 

Can you not set your own choice on this router ?

The answer is no. These are the only 3 channels in the 2.4 GHz band that don’t overlap. See here for a bit more information.  https://www.minim.com/blog/wifi-channels-explained-what-is-wifi-channel-width
