Good honest broadband from Yorkshire

Our major news is the launch of our new marketing campaign. You may have noticed it out and about, and we hope you like it. We're advertising on TV, radio, billboards and in most of the national papers championing our strong Yorkshire heritage. We have a lot to shout about and want to get our Good, Honest Broadband out to as many people as possible. We're very proud of our Yorkshire roots, our excellent service and our commitment to delivering great products at affordable prices. So we thought it was time we shared the Plusnet secret. You can help us spread the word, and get something from us as a thank you. Why not recommend us to your friends and family through our 'My Referrals' scheme? For everyone you refer you'll get money off each month, as well as the satisfaction of sharing a good thing. It is Christmas, after all!

Have Christmas on us and M&S

As a special Christmas treat we've teamed up with M&S to offer you the chance to win a fantastic prize to take the strain from some of that Christmas shopping. We've got three lots of M&S vouchers to give away, £250 for 1st prize, £150 for 2nd and £50 for 3rd. The best bit is that you don't need to do anything to be in with a chance of winning. As you've received this newsletter, you're already in the draw for the prize. So fingers crossed that the next email you receive from us will be telling you that you've won! Good luck. Full terms & condiitons can be found here.

Friendly, reliable Yorkshire support

Late 2010 saw the move of all our customer service and technical support back into our Sheffield offices in the UK. So now if you call us for help, you're guaranteed to be talking to one of our friendly support staff right here in Yorkshire. Now everyone is under the same roof, we'll be able to get things sorted out for you even more quickly.

Come chat with us on Twitter!

We're always trying to find better ways for you to get in touch with us if you need anything. That's why we developed such extensive online support pages, and why we created our Help Assistant. You'll already know you can get in touch by calling us or raising a support ticket, but did you know you can also ask for help and get service updates via Twitter? Apart from being a good place to ask for some help if you're having trouble with your connection, we also post up-to-date information about any major outages, and unplanned maintenance. So, if you have a phone capable of checking Twitter updates and your internet drops, you can pop onto our feed and find out if there are any problems in your area, and what's being done to fix it. If you want to see how it works, or want to give it a try, just follow Plusnet here.

More reasons why your service leads the way

We're proud of the quality of services we provide, and hopefully you'd agree, but it's always nice to get recognition from someone else. We won the top industry accolade for Consumer Customer Service at this year's Internet Service Provider Awards. The judges were impressed with our flexibility and the effective way that we handle complaints. For the second year in a row, we've won the 'Best Value Home Broadband' award at the Top10.com Broadband Awards. The judges recognised our passion for consistently providing great broadband: "Plusnet win this award for the second consecutive year in recognition of their continued commitment to offering a quality, stand-alone home broadband service with a low annual cost". We've also collected two more uSwitch awards, this time for 'Best Technical Support' and runner-up for 'Overall Customer Satisfaction'. According to the uSwitch 2010 Broadband Customer Satisfaction Report we're helping set the pace for customer satisfaction.
