You may remember back in May PlusNet announced our sponsorship of the SYchosis II LAN party in Doncaster. The event starts at 6pm tomorrow and runs until Sunday evening at the Doncaster Dome leisure complex. There's still some places available and we're hoping to make this one of the biggest gaming events ever in the north of England. If you're not a hard core gamer then worry not - there will be plenty of console games to play and some non-competition fun. For those of you who fancy your chances at Counterstrike Source or Call of Duty 4 then get yourself down for a chance to win some prizes. There's £3000 of cash to be won as well as plenty of gaming goodies and some free broadband. Tickets for the full weekend cost £35 until close of play today and £45 on the door. If you just fancy turning up to see what's going on and have a play on some of the console games then it's only £5 for a day ticket. For full details have a look at the SYchosis website. The event has generated a good deal of local coverage - both in the press and on the radio. Those of you who listen to BBC radio Sheffield may have heard Products and Marketing director Neil Armstrong with SYchosis organiser, and PlusNet TSA, Colin Hadley being interviewed this morning on Toby Foster's breakfast show. If you missed the interview, you can listen again via the BBC iPlayer here. You'll need to fast forward to around 30 minutes to hear the interview. Hopefully we'll see some of you there.
