Having just caught the news snippet over on ThinkBroadband, I was reminded about an article I read earlier in the week about an RNLI fund raising activity to smash the Guiness World Record for "Most comments on an online news story in 24 hours". Well it looks like the attempt is underway and as Plusnet are always up for supporting a good cause, I thought it warranted a spot here on our very own Community Site. Trefor Davies, Chief Technology Officer of Timico, is behind the World Record breaking attempt and money for RNLI is being raised via the Just Giving donations page here. To get involved and help contribute towards the record breaking attempt then all you need to do is post a comment over on the blog post here. The bid for the record began at 6.00am this morning and at the time of writing it looks like there's some way to go, so I'm sure Trefor (and the RNLI) would appreciate your support!
