Just been helping with a sign-up for Plusnet Broadband via the Plusnet Telephone sales line. I had to intervene because the sound quality on the sales line was so bad that it was nearly incomprehensible; a terrible acoustic with lots of reverberation, not to mention the background noise. Plusnet, surely you can afford to buy your sales staff some telephones instead of the tin cans and string that it sounds like they are using?

I would be interested if anyone from Plusnet could comment on this. They could easily have lost this sale as their salesman was very difficult to understand because the line quality was so poor.

Strange.
All Sales calls should be coming into Sheffield, so I'd be surprised if there were any call quality issues.
RR - I'm very sorry that your friend had hearing problems, I'll keep an eye out for similar reports.
