me thinks someone doesn't know thisoldman very well or his intentions, for a long time Plusnet customer and probably one of the most liked and respected forum members on here ffor a long time.
I don't think your comments serve much of a purpose. Yes this issue is very close to his heart, but don't judge a book by his cover! (really bad cliché there, couldn't think of anything else ::))
Until you've lived, suffered with, endured one on a day to day second by second basis, you will never truly know! Working with people doesn't qualify you, niether does a qualification in my opinion.
After all is said and done, it's only our duty to make our beloved very well respected folks at Plusnet, especially the ones on the DCT to work hard and prove themselves above and beyond their normal call of duty, which of course they do on a daily basis!

Quote DO I know anything about people with disabilities, yes. I've taught members of the public who have had a large variety of disabilities, and helped care for disabled relatives.

Quote from: Mand For example, I have my mobile number on at least 7 different accounts (I am point of contact on a few family/friends accounts), if I send a text saying I have a fault which account does the system raise a ticket on?
Surely including the username in the first line of SMS would be enough, perhaps bracketed by a couple of asterisks to make it easier to extract. I don't use SMS much, so I cant think of any specific examples, but I have come across this being used in the past to identify a user.

PN can try and get evidence that the customer is deaf before doing what Pierre Pierre sujggested so that it won't get swamped with everyone with the text service.
