No complaints here
I can't vote in your poll Urien as I don't monitor my download speed as a rule.

Are negative speeds possible?
Or do we subtract upload from download.

I don't want to hijack someone else's thread but seeing as you asked: Am I happy with my download speeds? Well, no tbh.
I'm sure it's coincidental, but since downgrading to a cheaper monthly option - I wasn't using anywhere near my allocated usage - the net seems very slow and lethargic at times. (Often between 10pm and midnightish).
For example, very often it is virtually impossible to watch bbc iplayer. It's like watching occasionally changing still photos with commentary! Hopeless.
Never had a problem before...

My line speed is generally 6-7mb.
Today it is only 5, not too much of a problem, but....every day at tea time plusnets traffic managment kicks in, and it can't be very well managed.
The last two evening I have spent 90 minutes downloading the latest MSN live update, and tonight, 3 hours after I started trying I am still trying to download the update for football manager live.
It is not a huge file, and I totally understand p2p or usenet managment, but why the hell is http download so heavily restricted, after all, almost everything you do online uses it.
Tonights attempt actually shows me the speed it has, and while a speed test shows 5mb, the file I am downloading spends most of it's time coming in at 2-5kb/s, and sometimes gets up to 24kb/s......
Dial up was faster than this rubbish!
