We had a simple rule where I used to work, no people in a relationship in the same department

Well, regardless of all the bits and pieces since my original post, I am thoroughly pleased with the router, and the service I got from the Plusnet staff, wherever they work.... Well done to you all. Thank you.

I’ve just come out of a period of router problems (at least I think that’s what my recent loss of connectivity was caused by) that resulted in me buying a new router (It’s always handy to have a spare) but just couldn’t get the thing to talk to the outside world. Plus Net have checked the line suspecting a fault and today left a message on my home phone. One phone conversation later with Steve from the CSC and I’m back online. No fuss, no drama, just another example of excellent customer service from Plusnet. Thank you guys, oh yes, and girls! ..........Rob

Hi,
I would like to add onto this thread, as I am very impressed with the Customer Service here.
I joined PN last Oct (from aol dialup, ok till this year then awful and dont get me started on their CS !!!) There have been some probs with getting wireless and it turns out it was 2 faulty Thomson routers, but this 3rd one, a D-link has connected with no problem. Through this I rang the Support several times and they are always so helpful and patient at answering beginner's questions, it makes such a difference.!
So thanks folks!

PS if of interest, the routers (all) came from - and went back to the BT depot. In addittion to the above, there was also a 1 port sent in error so it seems the Depot is not too reliable...?..
