Me I wouldn't be fussed
I would either bin the lot in the recycling or if I was feeling nasty just put them in the post individually

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

I had it before where a company charged me a monthly subscription 3 times in a month, for two months running.
It could have been worse for the OP - imagine if it was a x115 billing bug Roll_eyes

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

Importantly, has the underlying cause of this issue been identified and fixed?
Are these bags sent out with no human intervention?  Surely someone would spot the error as they're sent out?

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

Two suggestions:
1. Tell Plusnet that they must arrange for collection by Friday PM and if they fail to do so they will be put in the bin.
2. Put as many bags as will go in to the slot of the nearest postbox in to another bag and just post them. If it's the wrong address Plusnet can sort it out when they are received. I wouldn't make a special trip to the post office.

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

I think it's one of those dos where it's funny if it's not happening to you but I must say that if it was me I think I would have found the first 30 or so funny stuck them in 1 envelope and posted them back then I would just have binned any more that arrived.
What is more concerning is why it's happened and why isn't it easy to stop what I assume to be a computer glich. It would appear for an ISP PN have some pretty antiquated software when you look at the problems with DD etc.

today i was sent 10 router return bags that have been ordered on the 3rd and 6th of January

I wonder if it is a mail merge issue and there are 10 other users waiting for return bags that are not going to arrive?

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

There will be a row in a table that isn't being cleared for some reason, so when the hardware ordering process runs, it keeps picking up that row.  The account is fixed (which will have created the ordering row in the first place) but if that row isn't cleared, the problem won't go away.
I'll check to see this is being looked at today.

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

One of our engineers has done some tinkering which should hopefully stop it.  You might receive a few more this week based on orders being sent yesterday/today.  If you are still seeing more from Monday, come let us know and we'll have another look.

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

Have you also made sure he's received the labels to send the bags back?

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

On the question of unsolicited goods namely return envelopes there is no legal requirement for you to return them to PlusNet. It is their responsibility to arrange collection at no cost to you.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: Fed up with router return bags!
