Re: Fed up with router return bags!

Hi Jason, I can send another but I sent you the first label on the 2nd of Jan then two more on the 6th so are you sure you don't have all 3?
@AlaricAdair
We've made arrangements for the OP to return the bags using some of the bags received and 3 postage-paid labels.

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

Quite a while ago I started receiving Readers Digest. After 4 copies I received an invoice for a 12 months subscription.
I wrote to them explaining that I hadn't at any time requested anything from them and to please stop sending me the copies.
Eventually after nearly a year of correspondence they agreed to stop sending.
The last letter I sent said this.
I hereby give Readers Digest 60 days in which to collect their unsolicited product from my premises.
I will keep the items in good condition until the end of the 60 day period after which they will be disposed of.
I heard no more from them.
The magazines were recycled.

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

Given that the OP is reasonably expected (but not obliged AIUI)  to do little more than make the goods available for collection I'm sure PN will be making and appropriate 'gesture of goodwill' to reflect the inconvenience that their mistake has caused  Wink

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

Here's the quote from Citizen's Advice...
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations say you have a right to keep goods delivered to you that you didn’t ask for. These are known as unsolicited goods. But if goods are sent to you by mistake, you need to contact whoever sent them to let them know and ask them to collect the goods. You might get goods sent by mistake if they are meant for someone else or you’ve been sent duplicate or extra items on top of what you ordered.
If you receive goods you have not ordered and which haven’t been sent by mistake, you can treat the goods as an unconditional gift and you can do what you want with them.
Do you have to return unsolicited goods?
You have no obligation to return unsolicited goods to the trader or allow the trader to collect the goods. However, it would be reasonable for you to contact the trader to explain what has happened and give them a chance to collect the goods from you.

Re: Fed up with router return bags!

Having sent (albeit unintentionally) over 100 returns bags I'd have thought Plusnet could just send a few extra labels for their return quickly and without need for further question or discussion.

Hi Jason, I can send another

I've by no means said no to sending more out and we're happy to do so, it was worth asking about in my opinion as I know I'd sent out 3.
