I was measured and promised 17mb/s before I signed up to Plusnet....

i like your signature, about reading before writing, because I wrote that i didnt want to hear from people who are happy with their service, as i genuinely believe you cant help and are making unnecessary posts, i dont care how much you were promised and got from plusnet, the people who do get decent speeds are plusnets mask, people will look at your speeds, not my problems to decide wether to get plusnet or not.
SInce i created this thread the problem has gotten worse, in fact my girlfriend can't even watch tv on demand on her laptop, she keeps getting a message saying her bandwith is too low, when she is the only one online at the time.
this service is a complete fucking joke, the best you guys could offer was to ask me to do some speed tests, when you seem to know my speed anyway, and pass me the details to customer service so i can cancel, you've completely fucked me over, now i have to pay well over £100 just to cancel with you guys so i can get with a difference service, perhaps one not run by ignorant, incompetent idiots.
Just lock this thread, this is just frustrating me now, lets put it this way, if my service continues to drop, you wont get any money from me.

Re: Great.....

Just remember that the people who join and post on this forum are a tiny minority of PN's customer base, many of whom are reasonably happy with what they're getting but also try to help those with issues -  although I can understand the frustration you feel about your particular problems, you are clearly one of an even tinier minority of those who think that ranting, raving and swearing is the best way to get things resolved.

Re: Great.....

The Performance Tester is currently unable to run a speed test for your broadband connection. Please try again shortly, however if this problem persists, raise the issue with your service provider.
^^^ are you kidding me? not to mention the site for speedtester.bt is probably the worst looking site, it has bad grammar, i seriously think your taking the piss

Re: Great.....

JayG people tend to get frustrated when they pay for poor services, and no they aren't trying to help everyone so far has asked for a speed check that's all, like i said, i'm not interested in hearing from those with decent service, it means nothing to me whatsoever.
