Home move experience

Having moved home just over a year ago I've just moved again. Last time it worked perfectly and I had fingers crossed that it did again. I made sure that I contacted BT to move the telephone nearly three weeks before the move date and obtained from them the simultaneous provide code. I then contacted Plusnet and booked the broadband move giving them the code. As I've moved back to a 20CN exchange I also asked for the broadband to be provisioned on Max Premium. My ping graphs tell most of the story:
Tuesday 19th Feb

You can see the point on Tuesday evening when I pulled the plug on the router to pack everything away ready for the move.
Wednesday 20th Feb

As you can see my broadband was up and running again by 4:30pm on the day I moved. Only one slight problem - I'm on ADSL Max not Max Premium but ticket raised and that is being sorted.
Home move CAN be painless if you make sure it is ordered in good time - this is my second move where I've been back on the air the same day I moved. Many thanks to the PN staff who ensured this went smoothly.
Just needs Chris to move my entry on the Ping graphs page to 20CN - Extra to tidy up the loose ends.

... and for you to change the title of your TBB graph to  "jelv - Plusnet Extra 20CN Max Premium"  Crazy

Oops Embarrassed
Thanks for the reminder - I hadn't changed the wholesale provider, phone number or postcode on the monitor setup either!

Re: Home move experience

Given that a house move gives you a 12 month tie in why didn't you change to unlimited 12 month contract and save a bit of money

Re: Home move experience

You could change the title back, take a screenshot and post that picture instead of using the direct link !  Roll_eyes

Re: Home move experience

I couldn't be bothered to spend time on such a trivial matter so I've fixed it the simplest way possible.

If anyone else had done the same you would have them chapter and verse on how and why they are wrong, followed by pedantic 101 on how to suck eggs, and then post ludicrously detailed instructions on how you would have done it.  Usually regarding the most trivial irrelevance.
