How long does it take to get a reply to a ticket?

I've now been without broadband for 58 hrs. A ticket was raised over 52 hours ago after I finally got someone on the phone. It says that it might take up to 24 hours to get a reply! So how much longer is it going to take for someone to get back to me and let me know what is going on? Utterly frustrating and very shoddy service.
