It has been about a month now since we finally got our broadband connected and I thought it'd be appropriate to update this thread to hopefully help others and also to draw a conclusion to my experiences.
I wrote a letter to Plusnet's Complaints Manager to detail my experiences and to request compensation for the frustrations and expense that myself and my family had been forced to endure. I am pleased to say that I received a rapid response and have accepted what I feel is an appropriate level of compensation. Thank you Plusnet for taking my complaint seriously and dealing with it in such a professional manner.
