The Plusnet website usually describes the service as "award winning", and yes, they've got loads of awards from various places that nobody cares about any more. uSwitch, Broadband Genie, Simplifydigital, MoneySuperMarket, Moneywise - all names which mean very little to me.
In one place it says the service is "outstanding", without actually specifying if that's outstandingly good or outstandingly bad. That's a bit like saying it's "exceptional" or "second to none", or anything else that sounds good but doesn't really mean anything.
"UK based" is probably the only part of the marketing for the support that has any substance.

I'm already with you (newbie) Matty, thanks.
I was just curious in case i have to contact customer support for anything later, which I hope I don't going by the complaints I've read here.
