Hmm.... Just checked on coming back from making a cuppa by way of celebration ! ! ... and it is now showing " start chat ".. but no popup about the times it will be available on either page.

There is a 'Dropdown' but it still shows the old opening times!  See screenshotplusnet chat.jpg

 

 and it never gets past the "Loading Chat" message?

@Just checked @14:20 Chat is working, but no pop-up yet?

 

 

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Apologies guys, I maybe didn't explain myself very well.

 

Whilst Chat is open, no pop up will appear as we don't want to get in the way of customers who want to chat to us when we're available. However, outside of our 12-4 opening time the pop up will show to explain it.

 

Happy to take feedback on that?

@PlusnetLiam  Yes,....sounds reasonable.... however... most shops dispaly their open & shut times, even when they are open.. ( especially if they are "limited opening" i.e. a specialist shop 

A "pop up" is hardly likely to "get in the way" for more than a few seconds appearance,... ( say 15 to 20 seconds.)  and it could be placed in the spare "white space"  so that the " get started" button is not obscured..

 

Strange how, we, the customers have to come up with these brilliant ideas... and we don`t even get paid for it ...

I'm with @shutter on this.

It would annoy me if I thought "oh it's fine, chats open later I'll hop on when I get home" to then be greeted with a pop up giving something different.
