New account, installation, fast and not a single problem!

The router arrived two days before the OpenReach engineer. The engineer arrived *at* 1pm for the afternoon slot I booked. He was in and out in under half an hour, and by the time he left the account was already activated. 15 mins later (giving the router its advised time to set itself up) I was getting "blisteringly fast" broadband
And this is changing ISP and getting fiber for the first time simultaneously. Just goes to prove the phrase "YMMV"

Good news, that is how it should go!!
The problems with Forums, people do tend to "air" their Complaints (including me) & it can tend to get a bit unrepresentative, at times! Hence, it is really good when there is a balance!
